On Broadway Musical Theater Camp
Entering Grades 5-9
Actors develop and strengthen skills in acting, singing and dance. Over the course of just two weeks, On Broadway creates a full theatrical production complete with set, lights, microphones and more! The selected shows develop elocution, attention to detail, physicality, and creativity. These skills aid performers on and off the stage, over the summer and throughout the school year.

Something Rotten! Jr.
Welcome to the outrageous comedy, Something Rotten. Set in the 1590s, two playwrights are stuck in the shadow of the great William Shakespeare. In an effort to outdo him, they set out to write the world’s very first musical. Something Rotten features songs, dances and wacky, over-the-top characters, each with their own moment to shine.

Todd Morse Director of Theater Arts 3 Years at Fessenden
This will be Todd Morse’s third year running our Theater Program. Todd joined Fessenden Summer Camps having created multiple theater programs around the area. Beaver Off-Broadway in Chestnut Hill, LINX Theater in Wellesley and Walnut Hill School for the Arts Community Theater Academy in Natick were all created with his direct leadership and with his unique methodology. He started acting at St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers and was the youngest student director in Boston College’s history. Students who have trained with Mr. Morse study at premiere acting schools including NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, but Mr. Morse’s philosophy is focused on how the arts aid every performer, no matter what path they choose. His focus is always on generating confidence and creativity in young people.
