2026 Fessenden Day Camp Weekly Themes
At Fessenden Summer Camps, we believe that fun sparks learning, creativity, and community. That’s why each week has its own theme—from the Wild West to the Olympics, even a Carnival Day!
Themed weeks give campers something to look forward to, and brings the whole camp together for a shared celebration of laughter, games, and community. It’s all part of how we make every day at camp exciting, meaningful, and unforgettable.
2026 Day Camp Weekly Themes
Week 1 (June 22-26):
Sports Spectacular
Campers will dive into the excitement of friendly competition, teamwork, and camp spirit as we celebrate all things sports. From classic games to creative new challenges, every camper will have a chance to shine!
Week 2 (June 30-July 2):
Party in the USA
This may be a short week at camp, but it will be packed with serious fun! Celebrate all you love about the USA. Go all out in your red, white and blue gear while we party all week. We will celebrate with lots of patriotic activities.
Week 3 (July 6-10):
Carnival
Join us for our annual Camp Carnival! The highlight of the week will be a day full of classic carnival fun with carnival games, a dunking booth, bouncy houses, face painting and lots of outdoor fun.
Week 4 (July 13-17):
Wild West
From gold rush games to western-style challenges, the spirit of the frontier will come alive through creativity, teamwork, and plenty of camp fun. Grab your hats and bandanas—it’s going to be a rootin’-tootin’ good time!
Week 5 (July 20-24):
Halloween
Join us for a spirited week of Halloween fun. We will celebrate this week with dress up days, mummy games, a scavenger hunt and lots of spooky crafts. Your camper will enjoy a few tricks and lots of Fessenden treats!
Week 6 (July 27-31):
Fessy Games
A camp classic returns to Week 6! Put your game face on and go for the gold. Cheer on your fellow athletes as you compete. Test your agility and strength. Our Annual Fessy Games will include obstacle courses, swim races, spirit awards and much more!
Week 7 (August 3-7):
Space Odyssey
Campers will explore the wonders of outer space through exciting games, creative crafts, and intergalactic challenges. From astronaut training to cosmic competitions, it’s a week filled with discovery, teamwork, and imagination. Get ready to reach for the stars and have an out-of-this-world adventure!
Week 8 (August 10-14):
Disco Day
Get ready to groove! Campers will step back into the funky ‘70s with music, dancing, and dazzling outfits that light up the camp. From dance-offs to glittery games, it’s all about rhythm, fun, and big smiles. So dust off those disco moves and get ready to boogie the day away!
