Fessenden Summer Camps

Rising Stars Musical Theater + Day Camp – Entering Grades 2-4

Campers 2nd – 4th grade will build foundations in acting, voice and dance. Over the course of just one week, Rising Stars create an incredible scene, song and dance number complete with set, lights, microphones and more! The selected scene and song will introduce them to a work from Broadway and provide them skills they can build on, growing as performers every summer.

We strive to have a balance of ages, and a mix of boys and girls, in the camp.  This impacts the number of spaces available for a given age or gender in the camp.

Features of the Theatre + Day Camp include:

  • Morning activities with their Day Camp group
  • Swim lessons provided by our Red Cross certified instructors
  • Improvisation games and role-playing to develop acting skills
  • Script writing, costume design, set building, and prop creation
  • A final stage production where every camper plays a part

Meet the Musical Theater Director!
