OUR SWIM PROGRAM
Fessenden Summer offers a highly-rated swim program taught by skilled and experienced instructors, who are all Red Cross certified Lifeguards. Each class ensures excellent and individualized instruction. Individual skill assessments are conducted throughout each week to help campers advance.
OUR CAMP MODEL
Fessenden Summer teaches children independence, social skills, and teamwork, but can also help participants with perseverance, while improving their self-confidence along the way. The great thing about summer camp is that it’s not only an excellent way for kids to spend part of their summer, it sends them home with new skills that are valuable right now and that will serve them well into adulthood.
OUR STAFF
One of the best things that happens at camp is that kids get exposed to a different kind of adult role model than what they meet in a traditional school setting. Our staff is well-trained, energetic and incredibly caring. Fessenden staff members are true “Camp People” and know how to make every day fun. A large number of our staff return to Fessenden year after year; some were even campers at Fessy themselves!
